I joined the board because: Summit County (much to my mom’s dismay) has become home to me and I’d like to be more involved in creating the kind of sustainable community I’d want to start and raise a family in.
My passion is: Exploring the high mountains and remote drainages of the Colorado Rockies, either with a splitboard on my feet or an overnight pack on my shoulders. Also, playing my bass and head-banging. As well as anything Boston Celtics.
My favorite “green” thing to do is: Leave No Trace camping
The craziest thing I have ever done in the name of sustainability is: Braved blowing snow and a steep, slippery roof to keep A-Basin’s rooftop solar arrays clear of snow and generating power – at 12,500 feet!.
