SUSTAINABLE BUSINESS PROGRAM
Resource Wise is a partnership between HC3 and the Towns of Breckenridge, Dillon, Frisco, and Silverthorne as well as Summit County Government. Resource Wise businesses across Summit County have had positive impacts on our community by reducing their carbon emissions, energy use, and waste, as well as improving recycling, composting and purchasing practices. Many of these businesses have streamlined operations and saved money doing it.
SERVICES
Free Sustainability Consultations
When you enroll in the Resource Wise program you get free sustainability and energy assessments. You will receive two reports and an initial score based on the results of these assessments. We also provide our top recommendations for improvement and can help your business identify and complete a project.
Commercial Rebates
Any business that completes an energy or sustainability project can receive a rebate covering 50% of the cost up to $400.
Recognition
There are four different levels of certification in the Resource Wise program, each with increased benefits. We encourage all businesses to set a goal for the level they wish to achieve and work to get there! All certified businesses receive free marketing outreach from HC3.
