\nThe Towns of Blue River\, Breck enridge\, Dillon\, Frisco\, and Silverthorne are calling for volunteers to help clean up Summit County before summer. As the snow melts\, those wind blown and forgotten items from our busy winter season become noticeable\, making spring cleaning a necessity. This year’s cleanup will take place Ma y 15-23 to allow for time and space for physical distancing.
\nClean up supplies can be picked up from designated areas in each Town\, or perso nal supplies can be used if preferred. Volunteers are encouraged to pick a favorite area near their home that needs attention rather than receiving an assigned area. Filled trash bags (50lbs or less) should be placed visib ly near the side of the road.
\nInstagram Contest: Community members can post a photo of their Town Clean Up experience on In stagram by May 23 for a chance to win gift cards from local businesses. On e photo entry per person. Winners will be notified by each Town after the contest has closed.
